full new drive train on, chain snapping in various places,
now my crank arm on drive side i txhink is bent,not my rings...am i right in thinking its this which is causing my chain to snap alot??

Probably not, unless it's catching your chain and snagging it. If it's just the rings moving with the arm there's very little difference in terms of what the chain sees.
Usual causes:
Chain links seizing due to rust/grit.
Shifting while under power
Massively worn driveline (clearly removed that option)
Chainline WAY out suggesting chain is being used at big angles.
For me it was badly setup gears. Might not be for you, but my bike ate two chains and half a dozen speedlinks before I finally worked that out.

I snapped a chain for the first time on Saturday, all through the ride I kept getting grinding noises and then it went bang. Turns out the chain was a bit ****ed and the lower jockey wheel was nigh on siezed - ahh hours riding through muddy, sandy gloop, yey 😆

brand new drivetrain clean as a whistle,and i dont if ever shift under power.
spec = full xt with race face atlas cranks.
could be chainline, god knows...
Set it in middle and middle, if the line of the chain is roughly parallel with the toptube you'll be fine, but a few degrees out can be exaggerated when at other extremes of gears.
