Hi,
Just swapped 36t inner front chainring for a 30t and this is combined with a 11-32 out back. It's on a FSA adventure compact crankset on my cx bike.
Issue is - when chain is on the front innner 30t chainring and in a higher gear out back (approximately halfway down the rear cassette), the chain rubs slightly against the 46t front ring as it is coming off the front 30t and making its way across to the lower end of the rear casssette.
Is this to be expected on this setup and I should simply avoid crossing the chain or is there an adjustent I can make to allow me to use the higher gears on the rear casssete whilst in the front chainring?
Cheers for any help
I’ve got a Praxis 48/32 set up with an 11-32 cassette on my gravel bike - have exactly the same issue.
Pretty sure I read on the praxis chainring packaging this was to be expected!
In use I don’t notice it, only when bike is in the stand

Cheers@andy. Makes sense. It will be interestimg to see how it rides under tension - might not rub like you've found. Ive only had it in the stand.
