Hello, I had an order placed on chain reaction, confirmed and noted as despatched.
Never arrived and when chasing Hermes, they said sorry we lost it somewhere so please contact Wiggle (sic) to make a claim.
I can't find the anywhere on chain reaction regarding an item not arrived because Hermes lost it.
Any ideas please as to how best to get the item re-sent?
Ta

Have you considered emailing the CEO of CRC directly?

My ChainReaction order (track pump, Stans Sealant and PT assembly compound, turned up with Hermes in a damaged box and the 2 smaller items missing. CR were great and sent replacements after I completed the required form.

I cant see that from following the steps you have given? it just says wait or talk to the dispatch company....

Normally CRC are good and no quibble so I will see if they respond to any direct email but strange that there is not option for 'never arrived' item??

Tbh i'd skip that step and go straight to Tweeting the President of the United States.

Hermes have quite a bit of form for 'losing' items and breaking items. I had a few issues with deliveries from CRC in the past.
CRC have always been really good at sorting it in my experience. Though I have to say that I am put off using them because they use Hermes.
One of our local Hermes guys was sacked last week for being filmed (CCTV) dropping of an item, taking photo then picking it straight back up.

Hermes lost one of my crc orders, I just emailed crc who chased it up with hermes, they acknowledged its missing and refunded as they'd ran out of stock to replace, so if it's still in stock they'll just send another.

I usually select collect plus with CRC / Wiggle - I’ve literally never had an issue and it’s often there next day or next day + 1. Ordered with Hermes to the house a few times and it’s generally been ok - albeit slower and they did lose one item if I remember correctly.

I have the same with Wiggle today. Parcel due today but no update at Hermes since 27th. I used the chat function on Wiggle and they started an enquiry with Hermes straight away. Says if no update within 3 days to recontact. The lady I was chatting to suggested at that point o would be refunded or a new item sent if it had not been resolved.

Note the chat on a laptop web browser worked fine but on a phone it was useless and just crashed.

With it being Hermes, have you checked your gutters, wheelie bins and next doors hedge? I have found parcels in all the above locations. She even threw one over next doors fence a while back. They don't have the greatest track record
