I am planing to fit a Middleburn Uno to a Sanderson Soloist which has a 68mm BB shell.

Middleburn advise a 48mm Chain line , so therefore I think I need a BB 68mm X 116mm. If I can't find one of these , would a 68mm X 118mm be a disaster ?

Anyone know the answer please ?

I have a soloist with a middleburn and tbh I can't remember what bb length I ended up with. Chainline looks visually ok. So that's what I stuck with.

What rear wheel config. will you be running? Cassette type freehub with spacers and single cog or screw-on freewheel?
What type of BB/cranks are you using...I thought EBBs would require X-type, but if not and you are using square taper 113mm is the recommended length for Middleburn.
I would try and get the cranks as close to the frame as possible (double check if you are using a large Uno ring that it doesn't foul the chain-stay) and adjust chainline at rear hub, if you are using spacers etc.
