Evening,

Am i right in thinking a 49mm chain line means a chainring with no offset?

Actually I think I need a 6mm offset chainring.

I have a 142mm rear hub and non boost cranks.

I can't find any answers for non boost chainlines.

Probably 6mm for non boost. But see the superstar or absolute black chainring tech specs and it tells you what offset you need for each crank as it can vary per manufacturer.

• Standard ring = 6mm offset
• BOOST ring = 3mm offset
• ZERO ring = 0mm offset

For SRAM Direct Mount at least. As per Superstar Components product page HERE
