Going 1x10 and have just shortened the chain using big big + 2 but it seems a little short, what do you guys think?

It would look better longer but I doubt it would work any different - that's a long cage mech, I think, so you've got much more mech capacity than you need. Might be a bit short if it's a full-sus with lots of chain growth.
Fully compressed shock?
Sram recommend big big +3 for 1 x 10/11 setups.
Cable looks a bit too long 😉
Depends on your suspension if it's a full sus. That said I go for big big + 2 on both my hard tail and full sus for 1x10. +3 is too short on both for me. That's with a short mech on the hard tail and medium on the full sus.
If the mech is a clutch, it will take up the slack a bit if it's a little long.
Anyway, those pictures look okay to me. If the mech cage when on the big cog can be pulled up a bit further by hand then it's not too short, though check with the suspension fully compressed.
Looks ok to me as the mech is long cage and the bike a short travel machine: Anthem?
Thabks all, yeah it is a Anthem, shock is not compressed.
Cage is long if memory serves me correctly. Just looked a bit stretched to me as I've always ran 2 or 3 up front
