Hi,

I've just converted my double and bash chain rings to a 1x.

I've installed a Oneup style iscg 05 top guide (Not actually Oneup a knock off), but the guide isn't far enough over to cover the chain. It is way too far in,

Is this abnormal, what have I screwed up?

Cheers,

Alex

There are spacers to nudge out the guide on the OneUp 😉

I'd say it was a good 5mm too far in. Got washers, but washers and bolts not lomg enough. Get more / longer?

Spacer on driveside of bb? Or have you installed the ring in the outside position?

Definitely in the middle position. There is a drive side spacer, but that's always been there.

What does your chainline measure? IIRC, somewhere between 47-50mm for 1x, although Sheldon Brown will know.
