Planning a single chainring set up for my old yeti 575. I have a Middleburn Uno crank, with a 10 speed Zee Shadow+ rear mech. I was hoping to do away with any need for a chain device, but wondering what people reckon?
something like the superstar single ring chain guide:

or could I get away with one of those bionicon c-guides:
Middleburn do not appear to make a wide/narrow chainring yet, and it is such a nice crankset I really want to make use of it one way or the other.
why don't you buy one of their spiders and then chuck a NW chainring on it?
get a spider and a narrow wide, its all you'll need.
DON'T buy a bionicon c guide, they are utterly crap with a clutch mech, the extra tension on the chain saws through them in record time.
can I get a spider for a Middleburn Uno crank?
i had a moooch on their website and you can yeah, then you can pick and choose which NW ring to get.
