going to get a chain guide for my genesis core 30. Which do you recokon would be the easiest to fit? Not very good at the techy side of things.

single never use the granny and can live with out the big one and not flush with money

I've got an outer bash ring,and a granny mounted 32t bash,from bbg.
cheap,works well,nothing much to go wrong with it,easy to mount.light.

matt,if you read through the thread there's an mk2 version.
you can cut the teeth off an old chainring,then file it smooth for a cheap bash.half an hour's work.
and/or lower and lock down the front der.you've already got it.
or get a jumpstop.

how much north wind? Would if fit a core easy? See im new to all the tecky stuff just used to take it to the LBS and get them to do it but out of work now so deciding to do most stuff myself wiht the help of friends
