Anyone got one ?

Had a look today and am quite taken with it. It's 2x GRX which I like and seems decently made and light.
The shop has a 54 , I am usually a 56 but common thinking is to go a size down due to the long reach which will also help get weight over the front when roughing it.

So, any owners with opinions ?

Who told you it was common thinking to size down a gravel bike? Don't listen to that bolloxology, if you're usually a 56 you should start there and if it's not available then best just be patient or look at something different.

Nice looking bike though, esp the novocaine blue one.

Yeah! Got mine in the autumn. Apex 1 build.

Love it! It’s fantastic. The BB has already gone, at a paltry 500 miles. But otherwise it’s great. Mostly been doing winter road miles, where it’s been excellent. Little bit of gravel was also grand.

Ps sizing down doesn’t sound great advice to me either.

Not gravels bikes, just the Aspero.

Just been doing some online reading and a few have mentioned the sizing. The TT length is the same as my 56cm build Rourke and when I sat on it I was quite surprised at how large it felt. Certainly plenty room to move about, and every bike I've had was a 56 (or custom which ended up 56 lol)

I don't think I would have any worries about the 54 but wanted opinions from folk who own them. I imagine the reach on the 56 would be very long.

BB is always an issue for me, I somehow tend to kill the things.
Would prefer threaded but my road has BB90 so if I can live with that I can live with anything.
Lifetime warranty on frame regardless.

TT length should be longer on a gravel bike though. Ignore the roadies who think they want ‘racier’ handling and get the proper size. IMO.

Moot point anyway. Just found out my company has closed the CTW scheme so no new bike for me.

Actually , rant on.

Massive multi national electricity generation company , govt encouraging cycling , electric vehicles etc. scheme upgraded last year to allow E-bike purchases and in line with govt wanting everyone on a bike

Then they close the scheme due to amount of people working from home hence not needing a bike.
Wonder if their EV lease scheme is closed as well ?

Utter ****s.
