You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Have done some Singletrack research and it seems for the other Centre Parcs sites, the advice is don't bother taking your own.
I have never been to any of their sites, but presume it is the same for Woburn?
Are you asking about the local riding or Centre Parcs Policy?
IMHO its worth having a bike for the local riding. But I'm biased
Just for use around the site, I will be with family. I have heard Woburn is great for riding, but never been myself.
Not so much policy as whether the bikes might get nicked.
I've been going to center parcs for a few years now and always take my bike, we are going to Woburn in June for the first time.
I normally don't leave it around the parc, I keep it in the lodge and use it with the kids for bike rides rather than means of getting about the parc. I just run next to the kids as they use there bikes for getting about to.
Whinfell and sherwood pines are a must take your bike,
This year I'm gonna buy a SS rigid mtb and take that.
I've seen some rather expensive rigs locked up in the bike parcs over the years but I wouldn't do it myself.
Not worth the hassle and worry if you just want to bimble around the site. Either walk or hire their shit bikes.
Centre Parcs Woburn is not really near "Woburn" (Aspley Heath). You can ride there, just less than an hour. There are a few trails around the edge of the proving ground but we lost a few good cheeky ones when they built the parc on them.

This.
Woburn trails aren't really Woburn it's (as spence says) Apsley Heath and Little/Bow Brickhill. Which are both a few miles from 'Woburn', which in turn is miles away from the Woburn Centre Parcs which is actually Amptill/Flitwick.
Everyone jumps on the Woburn name as it's the most known which makes it all confusing for others.
The lack of worry having hired one of theirs was worth the £25 cost. But I had a similar lack of worry with the wife's £125 worth of Decathlon "mountain bike".
So I'd say if you are planning on going to CP more than once or have use for one at home then it's worth assembling a pub bike for the trip. Similarly worry free, a £10 cable lock will instantly render it less nickable that the majority of other bikes in the rack, and will also satisfy your n+1 lust whilst giving you something for nipping to the shops/pub on at home.
Good bikes get stolen at Centreparcs; anybody can walk in.
Dont bother been to all there parcs and woburn is the worst for bikes , hardly anything but road round the parc.
The site at woburn is smaller than the others, took my scott hard tail last year, going again this year but don't think I'll bother. Unless you intend to ride out somewhere? Ok for the kids to potter / whizz around but thats about it.
Yup, almost no riding around the parc whatsoever, Woburn is very small too. I just bought a Fit bike co. bmx off ebay for £50 and took that. Strangely, my sister hired a bike from there, and it seemed someone had taken it when she was swimming...
