Is there any reason that I shouldn’t use the pedal lever to add some extra damping to my CCDB shock when spending a few hours on some smooth jump tracks?
Does the pedal setting use a separate damping circuit that is designed only for pedalling and could be damaged by using for jump sessions?
It’s a lot quicker/easier to add damping this way instead of adjusting all 4 settings so hopefully no problem
Cheers
James
I think the climb lever closes the high speed compression and high speed rebound. I've often forgotten to re open mine after a climb and it's not died yet. I don't jump though so can't comment on how it will affect that.
If you use the rebound to help you pop, having the lever on may feel sucky downy. But if youve tired it and your ok with it then dont know of any reason not to. I certainly ridden DH plenty with it on accidentally.
It won’t be damaged but it really sticks the bike to the floor - I only found it good for climbing, not flow or jumps - but then it is called the Climb Switch!
