I've just found an old TFT invoice which was included when the shock came back from a service and I can see some suggested settings, I originally didn't see these and always revert back to the settings I have scribbled down.

They suggest speeding up the LSR a lot and slowing down the LSC by a fair margin, I always thought they would be in the same ballpark figure or there abouts. The shock now sounds like a 40 a day shock!

I'm going to have a play with these settings tomorrow but has anyone else gone down this route?

I've just changed to a CCDB cs from a debonair plus, and I was worried about all the set up, I've got a banshee rune so the cc web site has recommended setting (have you checked the site doesn't have yours) I set it to what was recommended and set the sag and loved it... I would like to mess but haven't done yet but did have a conversation with TF who did say post service they would tell me new settings because the stock setup was "lacking" in there words...

I'll find out tomorrow if they're OK or not 🙂 this is for the rune also, it was serviced back in may so the settings would have been around for a while.

Currently running a large and small spacer with following settings all set from min.

Hsc 2
HSR 2
LSC 15
LSr 15

New settings.

Hsc 1.5
HSR 1.5 from Max
LSC 5
Lsr 6 from Max

So there's a big difference between the old and new ls settings.

So the lower setting are what TF recommend for a rune?
If you don't mind me asking how much do you weight etc. If your in the same ball park I may try the settings.
I'm my completely un expert opinion the CC recommend settings work really well. But coming from a debonair it was amazing small bump and never bottomed out.

From max? So that's going from right to left? That's strange? I thought all settings are from left to right???

Yep, i arrived at the original setting's after trial and error. All in 76kgs.

I'm guessing the lsr is still in the fast range but LSC will be lower so guessing there will be more plushness and pedal bob! Will be interesting to see anyway.

Running 105psi.

Cheers

It does look like the rebound setting's are quoted from max.

I've just fitted a 2nd hand Inline on my 2012 Mega, I'm no expert and thought it might be a minefield but that field tuning guide is really simple. The base settings are just generic for my bike so I've changed them a fair bit. I sorted the HSC & HSR pretty easily on my local trails, the base LSC left it too soggy when pedalling hard but each click makes such a difference that with a bit of guidance from the previous owner it now feels perfect.

Are your LSC/lsr settings in a similar range?

Are you running quite high pressure for your weight or a small chainring or double/triple - that would make some sense for the LSC. Just read your pressure - that seems very low! I've got 155psi in a CCDBA on a Spitfire, weighing about 80kg. The low pressure would match up well with the quick LSR setting.

Run mine on a 2015 NP Mega. There's no base for the mega so just followed the running guide.

I wound on a little bit more HSR but have heard others say TF suggest running a lot of HSR but I quite liked the lively feel less HSR gives.

LSC 14 (base 7)
LSR 10 (base 10)

With the LSC at 12 it felt soggy when I was stood up and pedalling hard, at 14 its nice and firm.

The low psi with the quick lsr makes sense but stomping on a 34 front ring with a low LSC must equel bob 🙂 I'll find out tomorrow, just curious if I will end up winding up the LSC again or have I been missing a trick-probably!

Cheers mugboo. Just curious if there are any bikes running very low LSC, I think running lsc with 5 I'm not going any where fast.

Why would they suggest two from minimum and two from maximum?

No idea. Believe there are 25 clicks in the low range so not quite 2 from min/Max but still they are both at opposite ends.

Maybe they are ideal for more DH?

Give Tftuned a ring and ask them, I'm sure they won't mind, very helpful peeps.
