So I need to know what the max pressure in psi the CCDB Air CS can takes.

As I've never had such a decent shock before and tbh Fox DPS factory doesn't count lol.

It's a new shock and am unfamiliar with it.

I seem to remember filling to 185psi for my 240lbs weight. Though upon flipping the travel link to longest setting, I removed all air pressure to check for tyre clearance of wheelsize.

Backed out the sliding dropouts to accept the larger of the two wheel sizes so rear doesn't schlap the seat tube at full compression.

I cycled shock upside down to check the clearances and turned bike upright to then inflate though won't go more than 145 psi.

Hopefully someone knows these shocks as CC customer service is painfully slow from experience plus the bike brand owner is retired from bike industry so I believe and is a rare unique frame so no go on pointers from him sadly.

Bike shop where purchased won't answer my emails and I CBA to speak to any human atm in all fairness though STW beings come forth and rejoice in the fountain of knowledge.

Oh and unsure if these shocks accept volume reducers and if any fitted already.

If there are reducers fitted, does this mean less pressure used than usually?

Do you happen to have experience and know this shock?

Was it working before or is it brand new ?

Could this be a weird positive/negative chamber thing I wonder?

Try letting the air out again then every 50 psi cycle the shock( with the pump disconnected) by bouncing up and down on the saddle to equalise the positive/negative chambers.

Well I rode it once and was brand new with frame.

Funnily enough I did compress every 50 psi.

Will take a look again. Just wondered what max psi is for this big can shock.

300psi I think - CC recommend your weight in lbs - 20 as the starting pressure when determining sag - so 220psi for you. They also accept volume reducers, doesn't change the max pressure but does make them firmer for a given pressure...
