Before I shell out £380 for one is there anywhere cheaper?

I got mine from TFTuned. They know how to set it up for me, my bike and my [s]mincing[/s] riding style. That's worth a few quid in my book.

edit: It's chuffing brilliant btw.

What size you after? I've got a 3 month old one. I Bought a new bike and now the shock is not getting used. They are awesome though. 190x50 I'll do it for £250.

Bargain that! Unfortunately I need a 216x63 so I'll have to pass. I think I'll be getting the mounting hardware from TF which still leaves me £100 quids in, money towards some pikes. Not bothered about setup, the base tunes seem pretty spot on from what I've read and I like to fettle anyway

In my experince (Orange five and alpine) the base tunes are very far from spot on on...TFtuned are more on the money

Apparently the shocks come with the teflon inserts and the bushes can be had for a tenner the pair from the same place. Regarding tunes I'm sure I'll find the sweetspot, if I haven't by the time it needs its first service I'll seek advice from them then, or will do anyway and compare it to my findings

Got mine from All Terrain Cycles at Salts mill a few months back. Can't member the price but were the cheapest I found.

The base tune for the 2015 Five I found to be a bit out. Not by miles but prob just a few clicks here and there. As everybody will want it to perform slightly differently this isn't too surprising eg i prob like more rebound damping than the next guy etc. No doubt would be the same with TF tuned. Its only a starting point, adjusting it to how you want it the whole point of this shock so why pay a premium for a generic ball park adjustment?
