Good Afternoon All,
With the impending opening of holiday accommodation, B&B's etc in Scotland I wanted to ride the Cateran trail, over 2 days with an overnight stop, preferably somewhere with good food and great beer.
What is the general consensus on a sensible half way point with a decent pub/room for the night?
Do most folks start in Blairgowrie or Alyth?
Any merit in riding anti-clockwise?
All the reports I have read are either walking it over a few days and/or people are camping. Me, I like a midge free bed for the night!
Any advice would be great. As would a GPX file!
Will post a ride report when it's done!
Dave
