Internet is awash with trailers at all price points, hard to differentiate wheat from chaff. I'm after a trailer that dog can sit in when cycling to school with kids, load up with shopping etc. Ideally foldable for storage, and if possible, strong enough so I can rig something to carry the kids bikes on it- 26" and 24" islabikes. No requirement to go offroad, will be towed by a cannondale cross bike.
Any experiences or recommendations welcome. Cheers!
Very happy with my outeredge wooden platform trailer. Much better with a heavy shopping load than the single wheel trailer. Easy enough to hitch and unhitch. Only gripe is its a bit rattly when empty but I think most are. Fits around a 29x2.4 tyre no trouble. Needs a qr or bolted hub and a flat dropout as the mounting plate sits behind the qr head. Wheels detach in seconds for storage
I've got a Carry Freedom trailer. It easily takes a 140 litre IKEA box with a big family shop, and I've towed it with one adult bike and two kids bikes lashed on the back at the same time. Flat packs to hang on the wall in about 30 seconds.
