In light of the ice, which is not insignificant on some of the roads around me, I am wondering if it could prove exceptionally treacherous for road riding.
Thoughts? Advice?
Should I ride tomorrow morning and not worry too much?
Couple of mates have gone down over the last three days. Should be ok in the middle of the day though. I'd suggest waiting until 10:30-11ish before heading out, and sticking to bigger roads.
Thanks for that. I won't be able to get out until this afternoon, so should be alright.
Other reports will be appreciated, though.
In my experience as long as you stick to roads other than the tiny ones they will be gritted and you will be fine. Early Sunday the main roads will be quiet, just use those.
I'm up the valleys in Treorchy and all is well up here. A little wet today tho.
