All,

I'm thinking about fitting a carbon fork to my trusty Longitude. The Carboncycles QR15 Fork appears to be a good option.

Any alternative choices out there?

Limitation is 1 1/8 Steerer.

Cheers.

Paul

I've been running a Carbon Cycles fork on my Genesis Altitude for a lot of years. Not a lot I can say about it other than it's done the job it's meant to do and done it well.

The only thing that disappointed me slightly about the CC Exotic QR15 fork is the dropouts aren't quite what I expected, they aren't as beefed up, so use a shorter axle meaning you can't use your Rockshox axles with them. Was hoping to use a stealth maxle with them as on my commute bike.

My old QR ones were great, scotroutes still might be using them... I've been told though can't confirm that exotic are the manufacturer of most of their parts (and sell them to other brands like WP, Nukeproof, Pro etc) which if true always feels nicer than rebrands, since hopefully what applies for one product is more likely to have meaning for another
