But at £2500 for a frame only (despite it costing far less in the states) carbon had bl**dy better win!
Besides the dubious exchange rates it also irks me that S-C and others have started to charge far more for alu frames which start life as a carbon-only model - as if people's expectations are somehow different because of exposure to the carbon frame's cost.
I will be buying a new frame at the end of this year but I just don't know if I can bring myself to spend £2500 on something like a Blur XC carbon frame... Look at the XTR-equipped loveliness that money gets on the Canyon range, for a whole bike...
