Anyone using a Narrow/Wide chainring on a carbon frame and running the gauntlet with no chainguide? Just asking as my new bike will have a carbon rear end n don't fancy mincing it straight away with the dropped chain/saw! It does have a clutch mech tho if that helps....?

Being as mine hasn't come off once in 6 months of everything from uplifts to 20 mile off piste natural rides, with lots of trail centre in-between, I'd say your safe!

at one stage I was trying to get it off... back pedalling at bad times etc... no dice.. Its magic!

Works for me no problem at all with 1x10 NW Chainring and SLX Clutch Mech. No chain drops since fitting it in June.
