Does anyone make a single speed carbon road or cross frame?
Thinking of something like a light comfortable all day bike something like a Pompino but lighter blinger. Any other options for lighter Pompino style bike?

happy to be proven wrong, but I doubt there's many around:

Single speed road bike = cheap and not really embraced by roadies.

Carbon = expensive.

There might be some alu ones, or track bikes.

.....you could always use a chain tensioner or buy a Planet X track frame and drill it for brakes?

I was looking for something similar a while back, in thend I didnt bother. But you can get carbon track frames that might work, but theyre not going to be comfy rides.

You can get drilled forks for the Planet x track, I think they are the same as the tt bike forks. I don't think you could fit a rear brake, there's no stay to take one of the keirin rider brake mounts and what's there doesn't look drillabe. But if you were going to ride fixed it might be fine if a little harsh and would probably only take a 25mm tire at the front and having just looked probably only a 25mm at the back. also as an all day bike it has no bottle cage mountings.

something like a Pompino but lighter

presumably that's most fixies then 😉 -what about a Pearson Touche or if you have money to burn get a handbuilt 853 frame or Xacd or someone to knock up a ti bike for you

You would probably be better off looking at Track frames for true single speed and Carbon fibre offerings.

If you want to throw proper money at one, you could always try and track down one of these:

Burls can make you a titanium one for 1200 pounds. I know as I enquired. Spin can't make one with rear eyelets.

I'd avoid a track frame unless you can fit a different fork. The handling on the road won't come close to a road bike. Trust me, I have both.

Prefer something a bit more relaxed, certainly less toe overlap than a track frame. More SS cross perhaps I should just try a Pomp, was hoping for something a bit pimpier.

When I was looking for something similar I was hoping On-One had put swapouts on their Disco - sadly not.

I love the geometry of my pompino/pompetamine so in the end I just went for some nicer carbon forks, caliper front brakes, and built some nice light wheels for my pompino. Yes the frame is still a chunky steel thing, but it rides well, is lighter than stock and is very comfy.

Yeah was kind of hoping there might be something with swapouts available, may just get a WI eccentric hub wheel built up.

Pearsons have a limited Edition carbon Touche Fixie. Very nice it is too. Builds up extremely light as you might expect. They might have one left if you contact them.
