Hi spannering my mates new carbon on one Whippet singlespeed, and found the rear brake caliper mount is loose on the frame. Took it off an d no frame damage but before i go nipiing it up properly ( the chain ring type bolts that go through the frame and the adaptor/mount, not the caliper and mount) is there a specific setting, or is it just "sensibly tight", whatever that is on carbon! ( presumbaly not tighten until the paint starts to splinter around the hole, curse softly, and back off a quarter turn, and hand back frame to mate very quietly and say nothing!)( PS Pete just in case you're reading this - I DIDN'T!!!)
TIA
Drillski

I think on the Q&A section on the Whippet frame page on On-One's site there is a recommended torque figure.

On my wife's Whippet I just greased the bolts and did them up fairly tight and it has been fine.
