Hi,
Ive a carbon frame that has an alloy pivot mount that has disbonded. I believe a Loctite 9466 looks to be suitable to try and bond back in - does anyone else have any experience or ideas of a better product?

The mount is captive in the frame, and the design will pull the flange of the mount into the frame but the adhesive will need to take some serious shock loading.

Its not something that i want to try a professional repair on, but i figure its worth a go before i buy a replacement rear triangle.

Thanks,
Kev

not used 9466 and should work. however Ive used this product to repair my abs door mirror cover
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Q-Bond-QB2-Strong-Adhesive-Repair/dp/B002XF4S6C
which should work on carbon, it is basically superglue with a bottle of plastic powder (or aluminium) which you use to build up a layer of material where you need it - ideal for repairing carbon in small areas? the repair to my plastic cover is just as strong as the original cover. NOTE I just grabbed the link, think I paid £5.50 for mine only a month ago.
