Has anyone ever had a carbon frame repaired? I have a 2013 zesty that has had a serious cable rub on the seat stay from the front mech cables rubbing on frame. The cables had been secured by a cable clamp and this was still tight when checked how ever the cables still moved a bit, When i say serious its right through, i was wondering if anyone on here has had similar prob and had it mended by carbon specialist.
I suppose it makes a change from cracking in the frame like my 2012 frame.
i hear a lot of good about this guy

Yeah give HQ Fibre a bell, fixed my bike with a very similar issue.
Quite reasonable price too.
Apparently, according to LaPierre (or more likely Hotlines), it's the owners responsibility to ensure the cables don't rub through the frame, even when they are attached exactly as the bike left the factory.....
I have 3 layers of helitape between all my cables and the frame now, even where clamped by all the brackets.
Where did yours rub Max?
Through the chainstay in two places, where the 12/13 zestys/spicys have the most idiotic round-the-houses, gets-pulled-pushed-as-the-suspension-moves cable routing for the front mech!
One of the reasons it's worth going 1x imo!
We found the best option was to have a loop from the front lowest cable support on the downtube to the front mech and loose that stupid cable routing on the lower chain stay.
it improved shifting and stopped that rubbing.
LP cable routing is utter tosh.
I'm on a 2011 now but I'll have a close look at the routing cheers.
My cable rub experience was on a Trek FWIW - and they were completely uninterested in taking responsibility for their glaring design fault.
