Hi,

Can recommend the Iplay IP105D. Its cross bike but doubles well as a road bike too.

Regards

Which one did you go for? What's the hose guide like on the non disc side of the forks?

Is that a pure road bike or a cross bike compromise?

It is a FR320. Pure road discs bike. All internal cabling and di2 compatible.

It is my first carbon frameset.
Can I use normal grease for seatpost, headset, etc...
What is best way to cut the fork steerer?
And finally, the headset came with a different top cap, no star nut, looks like one of those plug things. How do I fit it?

Thanks

@cchris2lou
Not to concern you but they don't seem to have left a hole for you to fit the BB/cranks in there.

Santa Cruz have some advice on carbon & grease, worth checking but I think it's all fine and greased my bits before putting them in the frame

Press fit?
Or are you going to tap a thread in there for an xtype bb?

plastic cover on the BB. It is a BSA frame. 😉

And for info, the brakes mounts are for 140mm rotors. I'm going for 160mm with the spacers kit from Avid.

No you can't use ordinary grease as it can make the carbon swell. For seatposts you need carbon assembly paste which has little bits(TM) in it that increase friction so you don't need to overtighten the clamp.
