I have a set of Columbus Tusk Cross carbon forks on my CX bike. Also running mini-Vs. The headset is fitted fine. There's no play there.

When braking going down hill there is a very noticeable judder in the fork legs. It is quite disconcerting.

Does anyone have these forks with a similar problem? Any ideas?

I don't have them, but nonetheless - can you damp it? DIY 'Zertz?

Are the brake pads correctly set up? You need to toe them in, this is often a cause of judder.

They will also flutter if the bearings are going in your wheel hub. Worth checking as a first option.

Haha, yeah, and that. That's the real answer....

Well the first port of call, anyway.

Wheels are new (whole bike is), so I'll start on toeing in the brake pads. Many thanks

Judder is VERY common in cx forks but normally from cantis, mini vs are meant to be one of the solutions to judder. But sorry that's no help to you. Look at play in brake posts? toe in? different compound pads? Slipping star nut? Could just be a flexy fork?
