been running jones loop bars for a few years, but now i am doing a lot more offroad riding, i find they dont suit me for it.
but using a flat or riser bar give my right wrist a load of grief and pain.
thought about trying a carbon riser with a bit of back sweep.
is it worth a punt?

It's probably about the sweep and rise as much as the material. Is it the vibration getting your wrist or your hand position?

That said, I've just bought an Easton carbon bar from Merlin - seemed rude not to for £60! I know the shape suits me and it's half the weight of the current bar I've got.

it is pain in the wrist more than the position on flats.
my hand feels like it is gonna come off the bars.
it is getting very annoying and frustrating.

Get your carbon bars from Hong Kong . I got mine for 13 quid and I did the block of wood test and they hardly flexed . I weigh 15 st .
