On-one and superstar off the top of my head.
Cut my 780mm superstars down to 750. Also crashed in the first week and gouged them, a year and a half later and many big drops later and they're still going strong.

Aren't Renthal around that sort of budget?

Thomson Trail carbon bars are just under £100 at CRC at the moment. I've been pleased with mine.

Another vote for sixC. Best bars I have used. Renthal felt ok but look horrible with that tacky gold colour.

RSP (Raleigh) Ego DH bars come in under £70 and are 760mm (flat) or 780mm (riser).

I'd second the RSP Ego bars. Got some last year for thirty something quid in a sale and wish I'd bought two. Have replaced carbon Syntace Vector with them.

For flat and XC the Kinesis strut is 750mm. Liked mine until I had a massive crash at speed and snapped em. Not the bars fault - just me hitting something very solid very fast!

Renthal 10mm rise Fatbar Lite Carbon are really pretty flat and 740mm wide. They are also quite light.

Knuckleball or Exotic at the cheaper end of the market.

Carbon renthals are not gold. They are mostly black. Unless you go for limited edition versions.

Nukeproof Warhead bars are on offer at the moment, under eighty rubs. I've used the 780mm alloy versions and if the carbon bars are the same shape then they'll be pretty good.

Had some probs with Thomson's XC flat bar which wouldn't stay put even in an X4 stem with Thomson's own assembly paste.

The flex in the bar seemed to make it slightly elastic in the clamping area and even after carefully tightening the clamp it would work loose after a few rides

I picked up some brand new Syntace Vector Bars on Ebay for £80. 740mm and available in flat with varying degrees of sweep. Very happy with them.

i have 2 sets of Mt Zoom from XC racer. Both 740s. 1 set just back from a hard week in the Alps with no issues. The bars and KCNC stem together weigh far less than my old stem did. Would buy again in a shot.
