Looking at wider carbon bars and struggling to justify easton havens.
Theses seem a bargain but I've not heard of the brand

Any opinions or should I just play safe with carbon bars (I like my face as it is!)
I would assume On-One know what they are selling. I would also assume that they (the manufacturer) have tested these bars to destruction in R&D. Go for it, though I think you can gett better weight savings else where without that niggling thought that you'll be picking bits of composite out of your eyes and face should you crash.
well with the current discounts at crc, you could pay the same amount to them and get easton ec70 bars with the same length and only 2g heavier....I'd probably go for them and the Easton name....I all ready have them on a bike. However they don't come with bar ends so ou may want to factor that in to the price
If you're feeling brave you could go even cheaper.

Their forks have got good reviews though.
Those Carboncycle ones are aluminium cored, at least my ones are. Exact same logo and linning-up marks in centre.
I bought them from a friend who thought they were 100% carbon.
FRM are a very reputable company, if your not downhilling or jumping they will be fine.
I would buy them if I needed some risers.
I've got FRM bars. No problem at all with quality - just because you've not heard of them doesn't mean they're not a reputable and long-standing company.
For the record my FRM bars are shorter than they used to be, as my bar ends broke off the alu insert at the end in a crash, but the main part of the bars are just fine - which says more to me than if I'd never crashed them. I'd certainly happily buy some again given the right price.
If you use the CRC discount code (UK15) you can get some 730mm Raceface sixc carbon bars for £89.99 which are in stock.
Just got some and love them.
Same price for Havens as well.
Thanks for info that frm is a decent brand. I hadn't clocked that by going down a bit in length from the Havens that there'd be other Easton choices.
Thanks for all the ideas
