Anyone got experience with small parts using home-layered carbon? Small non-load bearing parts, or at least nothing major. Bar-grip extensions, a light bracket, that kind of thing. Cynic-al you have form here right?

Been to some carbon factories and they make it look relatively simple..

Sources of materials, tips on process etc, what to shape it around, all appreciated.

There are forums for this a place called composites talk in the UK but it's geared towards the company that sells carbon kits and resins and the like actually runs the forum

They sell loads of bits and bats and support their customers through the forum...lots of folks on there are doing what you are

There's a guy on here 3d prints Garmin mounts but also a firm on btinternet that will 3d print one for 5 quid a sq cm

Get some cheap cutlery, some carbon tape and a hairdrier and you're away.

😉
