Just fitting the chainset. Driveside BB went in no probs. Non driveside seemed OK until about 3/4 of the way in I encountered a lot of resistance. Backed it off and now the threads of the BB are mashed. So as a minimum it looks like I need to get the threads of the frame chased - hopefully it can be fixed.

Anyone recommend me an LBS in Greater Manchester that can do this work please?

If a bb won't go all the way in by hand (no tools) you have a major problem!

Chasing should solve and most bike shops will be able to sort!

18 Bikes to the rescue hopefully next week

Don't think I can blame On-One, the BB was used so might be to blame

Never had this problem before and fitted loads of BBs
