[Closed] Carberry mtb trails.. Any good?

Mate has suggested  a visit tomorrow. Are they worth a a trip to from Edinburgh? If so what are the trails like?

Yes worth a trip. You can easily ride 1-2hrs if you extend ride into country park. Local knowledge helps. The trails are very very muddy though !!

I've not been for a while.  It's definitely worth a visit though.  There's a couple of very muddy tracks which you use to go back up the hill but the downhill trails aren't usually too muddy, damp and a bit slippery but not muddy.  The guys that look after them do a really good job.  Most of the trails start near the monument at the top, trails going down the left side generally a bit easier, some big jumps and drops further down but you should see them in plenty time.  You'll get a chance to scope them out when you push back up the hill.  I usually manage to ride everything once before I'm knackered.
