New car time and thinking of an alfa gt, I love the way they look does anyone own one? And what do you think?
My mate has one, 1.9D remapped and goes like stink, revs like a petrol. It does 55MPG but you cannot get a single bike in the boot! Nice car and very nice to drive.
I used to have a 1.9GT until it ended up considerably shorter than Alfa intended. Anyway with the back seats down and wheels off you could get 2 bikes in the boot, with a removable tow bar and bike rack it did several weekend trips for 3 of us, I never got more than 50mpg but it's an amazingly practical car. Make sure the cam belt has been changed along with the water pump, if the clutch is tired reckon on also replacing the Duel Mass Fly Wheel..... Expensive!
