My bottom bracket sounds like its creaking horribly, I took out what I could any greased it but no effect.
Its on a YT Capra 2016 AL1 Yellow/Black I think which currently has the Raceface Pressfit in it. Has anyone replaced this for something better, if so what was it - if possible send me a link so I know exactly what im getting 🙂
Mine does the same. Its needs the bearing replacing rather than changing. Grease cured it for about 2 weeks.
Also, check the big nut that locks the front chainring in place. These can loosen and make it sound like the BB
Check the chainring retaining nut Colp mentioned. it's a common cause of creaking on those cranks.
Also as said above bearings can be replaced easily.
I removed mine early on, opened and re-greased the bearings and it's been cool ever since.
Worth doing anyway whether it's your bearings or your crank while you have the crank off.
I've just had a quick look and the chainring seems on good. Is the nut behind the crank arms?
behind the drive side crank. Yes.
If it's the source of your creak you need an older shimano BB tool.

remove the lockring with it, clean it, behind it and the chainring splines etc. grease the threads a little and replace everything doing the lockring up tight AF.
it doesn't have to be all that loose to creak under load.
An easy way to tell if it's not that is to simply take your chain off and roll around on the bike seeing if you can get the creak to happen laoding the cranks/bb (lean the bike over, jump on the cranks in various positions etc.
it helps if you get a mate to film *this...
*Not to find your creak, just so you can post it here and we can have a laugh at your mad shapes obvz.
