Planning on doing the capital trail clockwise with two night stops.
1) at 52km - http://streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?X=355130&Y=656697&A=Y&Z=120
2) at 131km - http://streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?X=328160&Y=627447&A=Y&Z=120
Just wonderring if people know any other alternatives for night 2 a little closer to Inners to lesten the third day of riding.
Minch Moor bothy is 10 minutes from Inners but it's in a bit of a grim state - I'd only use it if it was properly foul out.
Isn't there a camping spot marked near Traquair on the GPX? Load it up and it should appear as a waypoint.
I'm doing it next weekend. Was assuming to just see how I felt and camp when I was tired. Anywhere is fair game in Scotland isn't it?
Minch Moor bothy is no longer there:

Not surprised. It looked lovely from the outside mind.
Stayed here last Fri night and it was an OK spot. http://streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?x=322955&y=643567&z=120&sv=322955,643567&st=4&ar=y&mapp=map.srf&searchp=ids.srf&dn=794&ax=322955&ay=643567&lm=0
