You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Hi I recently took the plunge and invested in a canyon spectral. Its been pretty good so far but about a week ago I noticed the main axle holding the rocker arm in place was very loose, I took it out greased it and tightened. Now the rocker arm sits a few mm of centre in relation to the seat tube.
On a frame design such as the spectral the rocker arm should align correctly when the axle is screwed into place, canyon don't seem able to state if the rocker arm is meant to sit of centre or not and want the bike back.
Could someone please have a look at there spectral and see if the rocker arm is central to the seat tube.
Many thanks

I took a quick measurement in a non scientific way, by using the thickness of a pound coin.
I would say that there is more clearance on the drive side than the non drive side, so it would appear that the rocker is off centre.
Just checked the rocker arm on my 2015 Spectral & it is dead centre to the seat tube.
