I'm looking to buy a new Canyon bike, though I seem to remember the service from Canyon (despite more recently having a UK base?) being reportedly a bit pants and generally overwhelmed
Is this still the case?
I'm not looking at a shapeshifter shocked Strive at the moment, are they still problematic needing multiple returns?
They were really good when I dealt with them recently about a knackered shapeshifter unit (first time I’d had problems with it on a getting on for 3 year old bike)
Sent them an email in the morning, they phoned me in the afternoon, and a new unit was dispatched free of charge the following day
They seem to be okay but still not great, bikes ordered arrived on time but ordering a bit tricky. No confirmation email so I contacted the contact centre and they said they couldn't see the order (3 working days after ordering) and recommended reordering, cue two orders as first one eventually appeared. Easy enough to cancel but did seem a bit odd.
No idea about the service.
But this company is growing like crazy.
If this has an influence on how they handle the orders or the service?
No idea.
But very possible.
Bought mine from them, perfect bike , great price arrived in a couple weeks. No issues will buy again from them
ive nothing bad to say about the service ive had from them.
one warranty issue sorted quickly and even gave me spares.
would deffo buy fro them again
