So, I'm looking at getting one of these - the carbon, Ultegra version
I want it for "training" duties - just fitness stuff and a bit of Strava chasing. I also like to do some rough-roads Sportives (like the Cheshire Cobbled Classic) and I'm convinced the flat bars lend themselves to that.
My question is about tyre clearances and the potential for even "rougher" riding?
Canyon say 30mm tyres (on the 2019 version - narrower for earlier versions) but the photos on the website give the impression much wider would be possible - I'm wondering if 33-35mm cross tyres would fit in there for some gravel/CX action?
Any experience out there??
