I'm thinking of getting a Grand Canyon AL 6.0 or 7.0 to replace my aging Merlin hard tail. Can anyone suggest any alternatives before I take the plunge. The AL 7.0 is at the top of the budget really. Its just going to be used for cross country and trail riding with the occasional blast around Cannock.
Any advice would be appreciated as I've not really looked at what's available since I bought my Merlin back in 06.

To be honest I'd never heard of them before now. I'll take a look.
Boardman? pretty pleased with mine.. so much so I ordered a Hybrid yesterday!
I think I've been blinded by the spec of the canyon a bit to be honest. Need to pay the LBS a visit to see what other alternatives are out there.
