Canyon Nerve XC 8.0, are they any good?
wmb love the 9.0. look really well specced for the money. i'm tempted.
MBUK scored it 4 and a half stars and its cheaper brother the 5.0 scored 9/10 in mbr so must be doing something right and the 9.0 won trail bike of the year in wmb
For that money....who cares if its crap! ?
WMB gave it a 9, amazing spec, but the most important part of the review said that is is not just another cheap frame covered in bling and expensive parts, the bike totaly works.
Doubt you will regret it, apparantly they also get delivered in a reusable bike box.

this is true, but you pay 20 quid for it.
Would people say the extra 180 quid between a nerve 5 and 6 is worth it for the step up between recons and rebas and juicy 3s to elixir 5s? I haven't ridden either of the forks, so advice would be greatly appreciated. And the fox 120rls and full x9 on the next one up at an extra £240 again, any value there? Do prefer sram for literally no reason at all...
I would say yes in my opinion £180 is definately worth it for a plusher fork and greater stopping power
I have the XC7 and think it's great certainly gives me a lot more confidance to try thigs I've never tried before.
the build quality on these bikes is awesome, there is way more to them than just a great spec imho
It was just that WMB said the 5 was all the bike you'd ever need or something. Was wondering whether the extra £400 would be better off spent on this or maybe put into a nice second hand steel ht or something. Quite fancy building something from the classifieds.
Oh oh oh, i have a Canyon xc 9.0 - I wrote a long review here
After taking it to scotland - well pleased with it. Your not just paying for good parts either, the frame is nice and light and the suspension is well sorted.
