My google fu is weak

Need a new pair of wheels.

29er, QR Front & Back, Shimano/Sram old style 8/9/10spd (none boost obvs)

Ideally a pair of Hope Enduro... (but in reality I'm not wed to Hope)

Can't find

I don't think hope do the enduro any more - their rims are now called Fortus (in various widths)

SPANK would be where my money would go to as they tick all boxes plus are really very well built from factory

They also come included with multiple axle adaptors should you
Wish to go that path when upgrading forks/frame in future

Very nice finish to rims and schweeet coloured hubs

Support your local Spank dealer imo 👍

Hope hubs are pretty good but their rims aren’t that good.

I’d get either Hope Pro4 hubs or DT Swiss 350’s custom built onto some decent rims from DT Swiss.

CRC might do them on their custom builder - I’ve also seen a number of people suggest Ryan Builds Wheels and action sports.de for wheel builds.

I’d particularly look for hubs that can have the end caps changed from qr to bolt through in case you ever change frame / forks in future.

I'd check out Hunt for QR wheels, nicely made, easily convertible, much lighter than Hope for less money, and their QR wheels include some rather nice matching skewers.

Hope have stopped manufacturing so stock may be running low. Their rims are also quite heavy and narrow imo.

Moonglu built my last set of hope hubbed wheels and justridingalong traildog wheels get a good write up.

I have a set of 29" Enduro Hoops (blue Pro4, Shimano) sitting unused in the shed. I may have the QR adapters.

Not sure how that helps in these lockdown times, but let me know if you want to work something out.

Hunt are probably a good shout as mentioned above. Have some of their toad bike wheels and the skewers are quite nice that came with them - and you can likely get converter end caps to make them fit bolt through at a later date.
