Well not actually that so much as they don't work when I do.
Followed SRAMs procedures to the letter. Not a scrap of eveidence that there is any leak in the system and as bubble free as a very bubble free thing. Perfect apart from the brakes having no oomph. Squeezed hard I can just about force the wheel around by hand. With the lever adjuster set with the lever close to the bars where I need them the brakes are worse than when the lever is out for banana finger hands.
Anyo come across this?
Pads darn near new and perfect. Discs are fine with no feelable ridges etc. No interchanging of disc/pads or anything. Your thoughts?

Have the pads been properly broken in?

What @joebristol said. Or the pads are contaminated with something.

Pads fine. Had a touch of use , just enough to knock the surface off and spotless. Currently looking at sticking master cylinder piston suggestions.

Does to the letter incl the lever position? IIRC lever needs to be no less than a given distance from bar. Lever throw adjust thing.

PS My rivals aint the most powerful on 160mm rotors. Bled ok just not as much oomph in comparison to the mechanical avids they replaced.

If the brake lever feels firm and not spongy, its not a bleed issue. Its a pad/rotor issue.

Do the Rivals have contact point adjust like the Force levers?

Should be right on-top of the lever under the hood.

Do they stop you when you're on the bike?

+1 for bedding in properly.

Exactly. I would clean the pads and caliper with hot soapy water then sand the pads. Clean the rotor with alcohol or petrol then sand that as well. Then bed them in on a long descent.
