I must be missing something. Need to adjust the bb, tried what the manual suggests but it just won't budge. Any idea's ?
This one Still can't do images :o(
Mine never really undid easily.
When you undo the Allen bolt give a tap on the Allen key with a mallet to help force the wedge out. And then buy a better EBB.
That circlip isn't man enough IMO. Swapped mine for a similar Santa Cruz EBB. Still not amazing but better.
Tap with a mallet has freed the wedge. Still can't move it round.
It is crappy, my old Soloist was so easy compared to this.
Nope. won't budge at all. Any ideas as it seems like it's seized. The wedge is as loose as it will go. I've a park tool spa1 which isn't an exact fit but it feels like it should have enough leverage, mallet etc not helping
It went in, it'll come out. I think I used impact persuasion.
Is it threaded into the bb shell? As in maybe a few gentle wacks in and out could loosen it up and allow it to turn.
It's not threaded in.
Try this:

And then buy a Bushnell to replace it.
Done. Smashed the ****er out and its all done. All set for swinley blue/red tomorrow.
