Wanted to swap my 23mm tyres to 28mm on my 2013 Cannondale Supersix Evo. Will they fit ok? Want to get of the road and get on some of the gravel tracks here in the Forest of Dean. The wheels are Magic Ksyiurm SLR.

No chance. You’ll struggle to get 25s to fit. (2013 SSixEvo owner)

The next revision of the frame (2015? onward) can fit wider tyres.

Got a caad12 2017 - 25’s fit but 28’s are tight from what I’ve been told. 2013 is going to struggle with s wide 25 I reckon

On my plain SuperSix there was no way any tyre bigger than 25mm was going to fit in my fork. One reason I got rid of it.

What are the gravel track like there? I was okay using 23c on the gravel roads in the New Forest as they are hard packed and don't have much loose gravel on them. Have you tried it?

Changed frame a few weeks back which could fit 28c and now have t admit a 28c is better but until then I was still happily using 23 so a 25 would be slightly better if that fits.

2015 SuperSix here, 25mm fine, 28mm rubs on chainstay.

Will depend a little on rim width of course, mine are 24mm wide, but I reckon 28mm will be pretty much a "no" whatever the wheels. HTH.

2014 owner here. 25mm road tyres not a problem ... anything bigger with knobbly bits on definitely won’t fit.
