Got the bike out this morning to ride to work. Noticed it wasn't in gear properly. Then noticed why!

Very sad as I love the bike. With all the stories of Cannondale taking a long time to warranty frames I am tempted to order some decent epoxy adhesive and just repair it myself.
Worse still I bought it through evans so have to deal with their interesting customer service to get it seen to....
Anyone with any good experiences of repair or warranty who can offer advice?
I suspect if you do the repair yourself any other warranty on the frame will be considered void even if it's in an unrelated area.
Personally, if I had access to a warranty I'd use it.
IME Evans are pretty good.
And bessides, the odds of them repairing it are probably slim so you'll get something new and shiny!
Don't mind if they decide to repair it, as long as I don't have to spend my saturday removing all the parts from the frame. I especially like the colour scheme and would be annoyed to end up with a red version.
It also seems a shame to replace a perfectly usable frame that just needs a repair. Undoubtedly if they do swap it they will put the original "beyond use". Gonna see the mechanic at Evans Guildford on thursday to discuss.
If you bought the whole bike from Evans then they'll do this for you. Mine's in for warrantee frame replacement (Manchester Chill Factore) and as it's going to be a while they even offered to temproarily tranfer all the bits over to a spare frame if I had one. Props to Evans for that I reckon.Don't mind if they decide to repair it, as long as I don't have to spend my saturday removing all the parts from the frame.
