Hi, new to this forum and would like some help. What do you think about the Cannondale Cujo 1. I can get it for around 950GBP of LBS. I have a strict budget and will use the bike at trails and easier xc biking.

This my also be an option but then i need to order it from England.

Neither really, they're both very different, one is a hardtail 27+ wheel size (extra wide tyres) and the other is a full suspension 27.5 wheel but with regular tyre size. You don't need full suspension for the riding you suggest, it will only make your bike heavy and inefficient.

If you want a cannondale look at this http://www.cannondale.com/en/USA/Bike/ProductDetail?Id=98784443-87d2-408c-97dc-cc796c18ef43&parentid=undefined

If not specifically a cannondale then just look for an aluminium hardtail with front 100mm suspension forks, and 29" or 27.5" wheels. The 27.5+ tyres with the first bike are probably overkill for you too.

I have a cujo and its an awesome bike (but i would say that). If it was my choice i would go with the cujo every time, its a very well mannered bike that is a lot of fun.

Can I ask some questions Trailwagger? Which tires came with? How about the weight ? I can“t find information on the Internet about weight. Please share your experiences.
Is it a bang for the buck?
Best regards
Magnus

SOrry for the late reply, only just seen your q.

Mine came with WTB Ranger tyres which are great on hard/loose gravelly surfaces sch as trail centers.

Weight wise its no featherweight but I have no problem pedaling it up hill or for extended periods and its still faster than my full sus bike.
