I've been looking at these 2015 Cannondales:

Is that right, 10 speed Octalink cranks and BB? Octalink stuff was gash over a decade ago, surely it's long gone - what's going on?
I don't think that's Octalink, contary to what the spec says, looks like standard Shimano HT2 to me.
Plus, Octalink is alright you know, works ok IME.
Mates just bought a 2015 Cannondale Synapse road bike with Sora and Claris groupset with a square taper crank........
What is wrong with Octalink? It works(s) just fine for me.

quite common for spec tochange between pictures and the final boxed bike.
id take the written specification more seriously than a picture - after years of experiencing this when working in bike shops.
as for octalink. V1 was ok , V2 was pish.
