I haven't been up there for years, but fancy a return this weekend.
My local woods are soggy 🙁
Is it weather proof, or will it be a muddy mess. I seem to recall comments from a year or two ago about it being a slopfest in the winter.
Any locals know what its like at the moment ?
There are very few parts which get muddy, generally the whole place is weather proof as the tracks are hard pack with stones and pebbles. If there has been rain lots of puddles tend to develop which only serve to slow you down, annoy you and get your legs wet.
It's fine at the moment no real problems.
There's a short fireroad diversion in place around one of the sections and there's some harvesting going on in another area but that's all. Choose your time if you can water tends to lie around for quite a while after rain but a bit of a breeze dries it out really quickly

I'm desperate to ride my MTB but my local trails are way too muddy at the moment.
On piste; i.e. Follow Yer Dad or Monkey is very good - a credit to the quality of build really.
