Did the Monkey today, no mud to speak of just plenty puddles in the braking pumps.

Frozen mud under icy puddles and sloppy mud combination. Mate has a couple of nice cuts on his face after sliding off tonight. Difficult to judge what the front wheel is going to do :-() we don't ride over the dog or monkey side, so can't comment on that side. I only crashed twice !

Took the day off work to ride the Monkey Trail half yesterday, ended up doing a few laps. Had a great time. A few big puddles - didn't have a problem with ice, fire roads are a bit soggy, but perfectly ridable. You'll have a great time.

As ever the Monkey/Dog are riding fine with a few puddles and the off piste is sloppy as hell.

Did the dog yesterday - fine, much drier than expected. Heavy rain overnight and am just off up there again now - will report back but there has been some excellent work done on the drainage side - also the downhill bit with swooping berms just before the werewolf section has been rebuilt/repaired - gone are all the horrible braking bumps that have been there all summer and it was a joy to ride that bit yesterday. Well done to the Cannock volunteers.

Was there at 4pm today, never rode there before.

53 mins at a slow pace for the dog?

3/5 trail. Although I did like the fact you had to dodge the stumps!

Conditions are fantastic at the moment, trails bone dry and frozen hard tonight, tomorrow might be different.. have you seen the forecast 🙁

Still you might get lucky, they're not always right 🙂
